Winter is here and so are all the sales that keep us warm. Christopher Fischer, luxury cashmere designer, is holding a sample sale. Let’s start with Thakoon since I attended the preview and can say:  they have amazing deals! Plus, there’s a large selection of merchandise. The offerings are mostly samples and runway pieces (size 2 an 4) at $50-$200.  Standout pieces were knit and jersey draped dresses and tunics ($50), black basic sweater ($100), a red leather top ($500) seen on the runway, a black leather hooded blazer ($200, retails for $2,950), python flats ($100).  Stay tuned for my full report later today.

FALL SAMPLE SALES

After a long silence on this website, we have made our return. The silence was taken due to many events that were required utmost attention and consideration, leaving very little time to write and post up delicious sales for our dear readers. As we are returning to our most enjoyable time spent, we have many of fall sales to share and indulge with you. Here is the round up.

Pratesi: Luxury italian bedding is hosting a sale 10/13 - 10/16 (10am-6:30pm), 317 W. 33rd st.

Chopard: Who doesn't love fine jewelry and watches. Well, here is a sale that will satisfy our love for fine shiny things, starting 10/18-10/20 (9am-5pm), 317 W. 33rd st.

SAMPLE SALE: THE ROW

Sample sale has officially started after Hermes sale. Now add to the excitement, the Olsen Twins label, The Row, is having a proper sample sale on Sept. 20th. Last year, they had a sample sale that only lasted for about three hours which allowed only very few people to get their hands on the amazing label. However, this year this sale will be held in Soiffer Haskin and it will be take place for four whole days. Amazing! Just a side note, expect amazing prices, however, since the label is high end, last year as reported by Mizhattan, prices were still steep for a sample sale. But anything that get out hands on the Row, we are in.

SAMPLE SALE: HERMES

Brace yourself people because Hermes sample sale is here and it is officially starting this thursday, Sept 6th. The only hitch is that it is coinciding with Fashion Night Out (FNO) so you have to plan ahead and accordingly. Either way, this sale will be packed with shoes, accessories, apparel and home goods. However, do not expect to find any Birkins or Kellys as they are too precious to be in a sample sale.

After a calm month, sample sales have started to re-emerge. I can't say we have not missed it but we were generously occupied by department stores sales. In any event, we are always excited by Helmut Lang and Theysken's theory who are holding a women sample sale on July 18th till the 22nd.

Tip for you-s: any *foursquare* user who will check-in will get an addition 10% discount at the sale. Awesome.

We are always ready for some bling bling, especially when names like Fenton-Fallon go on sale, wait, sample sale. The sale will start today and below are the details.

SAMPLE SALE: BLOWOUT SALE AT CLOTHINGLINE

You know what is better than a sample sale? A further discounted sample sale of sample sales (get me?). So here it is. This past season, we been running around sales after sales, some were fruitful while some were just plain waste of time. And at some places the wait was so long that by the time you got in, the sale was out of juice and so were you.

Now, it's mid-July mid-summer, every store in this country is gearing up for fall and most designer sample sales of spring/summer are done. Clothingline, a major sample sale location, is hosting a spring/summer blow out sale where prices will be a lot more cheaper than the usual sample sales and there will be no wait or rush and most importantly, no hoarders. In our opinion, this is the best time to actually go real hunting because you can find nice designer duds with significant discount minus all the hassle.

We are currently loving the line-up of all the sample sales and to add to it, J. Crew is hosting one just when all the major ones are happening. As epic as DVF sample sales are, J. Crew is not any less epic with much more affordable price tag. The sale will include women apparel (dresses, shoes, jewelry), Men's clothing, and Crewcuts for kids. Expect few pieces from Madewell and enjoy up to 60% off retail. So gear up my readers for sample sale mania.

Oh this is bananas! Rachel Zoe, celebrity stylist, is having a first ever sample sale. If you always wanted her style but did not want to pay the price tag it came with at Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales or Neiman Marcus, then here it is. The sale will be up to 60% off of Fall '11, Resort '11, and Spring '12 ready-to-wear and shoes.
