I'm really excited to purchase this new Chanel No 19 poudre. Although, the original is, quite frankly, too strong for my senses, it was a pioneer of perfumery. Many perfumes were modified or inspired by original No. 19. The main ingredient that was used in the perfume was Iris in a very high concentration. This new derivative of Chanel No 19 is using mixture of Musk and Iris, therefore it has a lighter musky fragrance to it. This by all means is a modern version of Chanel No. 19 and perhaps my new Chanel addiction.
